PRICES AND PAYMENT:
All prices are per person and based on double occupancy. Single occupancy accommodations are available with a price adjustment, as are rooms with private and/or shared bath. A final Tour-payment invoice will be sent to the participant 90 days before the Tour departure date via e-mail and final Tour payment is due no later than 60 days prior to the Tour departure date. All payments must be by check payable to: The Culinary Traveler. If the Culinary Traveler does not receive final payment 60 days prior to Tour departure date, The Culinary Traveler may cancel the participant's reservation. In such event, the participant forfeits the participant's deposit.

TRAVEL INSURANCE RECOMMENDED:
The Culinary Traveler strongly recommends that each participant purchase travel insurance to protect the participant from financial loss if the participant must cancel a reservation. However, travel insurance is not required to participate in a Tour and is not provided by The Culinary Traveler.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:
The deposit and final payment are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless an exemption stated herein is applicable. In the event that The Culinary Traveler must cancel a tour, all payments, including deposit, will be refunded. If a tour participant cancels a reservation, The Culinary Traveler must receive written notice of said cancellation in writing via e-mail sent to (with confirmation of receipt from The Culinary Traveler). If such notice is received 31 or more days prior to the Tour start date, the participant shall forfeit the participant's deposit but receive a refund of 50% of the participant's other payments, if any. If The Culinary Traveler is able to replace the participant with another participant, without incurring any extra cost, then the participant shall forfeit the participant's deposit but may receive a refund as The Culinary Traveler decides, in its sole discretion.

TOUR CANCELLATION, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND SUBSTITUTIONS:
The Culinary Traveler may cancel the Tour at any time for any reason, including without limitation, a decision that the number of reservations for the Tour is insufficient to operate the Tour profitably. The Culinary Traveler shall notify participant of the cancellation of a Tour as soon as possible after a decision to cancel such Tour. If a Tour is cancelled, The Culinary Traveler's liability is limited to a full refund of the participant's deposit and payment. The Culinary Traveler shall not be liable for unusable airfare or for any other costs, damages, losses, delays or inconvenience of any kind resulting from such cancellation. If, for reasons beyond The Culinary Traveler's control, a Tour in progress must be interrupted or cancelled, The Culinary Traveler will refund a portion of the deposit and payment depending on actual benefit conferred compared to the Tour as originally designed and scheduled. The Culinary Traveler may, in its sole discretion, substitute a service or event of similar quality for any service or event stated in the Tour itinerary.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Standard guest accommodations are double or twin occupancy and will include private, shared or adjacent bathrooms. Accommodations are assigned on the first-come, first-serve basis according to the date that The Culinary Traveler receives a completed Registration Form and proper deposit. The Culinary Traveler will make every effort to accommodate tour participants' preferences and will confirm assigned accommodations with participants.

LIMITED LIABILITY AND PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY:
The Culinary Traveler expressly limits its required performance to the delivery of a Tour as represented. If The Culinary Traveler fails to so perform, its liability to the participant or to any person claiming through the participant, is limited to the participant's payments received by The Culinary Traveler. The Culinary Traveler and its agents will not be responsible for any consequential damages (e.g. participant's airfare or other out of pocket costs paid to others) that may result from The Culinary Traveler's failure to so perform. The participant is responsible for damages caused by the participant's own actions, and agrees to hold The Culinary Traveler harmless for any accident, damages or injury caused by the participant or any third-party's interaction with the participant. The participant waives any claim against The Culinary Traveler for any liability for loss, damage or injury resulting from acts of nature or of war/terrorism or for any expense or liability resulting from labor disputes, government restraints, weather conditions, sickness of the participant, pilferage or any other cause beyond The Culinary Traveler's direct control. The Culinary Traveler reserves the right to remove any participant from a Tour if The Culinary Traveler determines that the participant cannot meet the physical requirements of the Tour, or is disruptive to the Tour time schedule, or adversely affects overall Tour enjoyment. If a participant is so removed from a Tour, or if a participant voluntarily leaves a Tour, The Culinary Traveler will not refund any deposit or payment to the participant, and will not pay any transportation cost, airline penalty, or any other expense of the participant. The Culinary Traveler will not refund any portion of the participant's deposit or payment if the participant fails to participate in any activities, excursions, workshops or portions of a Tour for any reason.
